Breakfast
A balanced breakfast
is the most important meal you will eat all day:
- Boosts physical
and mental performance
- Replaces low
blood sugar after a long period without food
- Provides carbohydrates
to fuel your body throughout the day
- Helps wake you
up and prepare for the day ahead.
Failing to give
your body important nutrients at the start of the day can hinder attempt to
lose weight. Without the fuel provided by a healthy breakfast it's difficult
to establish a healthy eating routine, and you could find yourself snacking
on high-sugar, fatty foods like biscuits and pastries.

- Bowl of porridge
sprinkled with dried fruit or chopped banana
- Bowl of muesli
topped with natural bio yoghurt
- Banana on the
way to work (if you're rushed and can't manage anything else)
- Accompany your
breakfast with a glass of pure (not from concentrate) orange juice
